I wish for a bike with a helmet  
When asking a child, “If you could have anything in the world, what would be?” most of us would expect the answer to be extravagant and expensive. Not Rafi’s wish. He couldn’t believe someone was willing to give him whatever he wished.

“Could I have a bike with a helmet?” Rafi, a 5-year-old from Calgary, Alberta, asked. His wish grantors told him he could have a bike with a helmet and much more. Then he asked if he might be able to get more than one present and maybe a skipping rope too. They told him he could have more…much more.

Rafi couldn’t wait for his wish to take place and wanted to go shopping immediately. The wish grantors told him, “Two more sleeps and your wish will come true.”

Now came the fun part. Rafi and his mom were taken by limousine to Toys R Us for a day of shopping. After an hour, Rafi had purchased everything on his list. He had a great time and was treated like royalty with his own personal shopper.

Rafi was so appreciative and gracious throughout it all. His wish grantors lost count of the time he said “thank you” and the most rewarding moment was when Rafi asked them if they wanted a “free hug”!

With so many people’s support to make his day extra special, Rafi couldn’t help but believe in the magic of a wish.
