I wish to touch snow
Eight-year-old Julieta of Argentina suffers from non-Hodgkin lymphoma, but during her magical wish to touch snow, she was able to forget about her sickness. Make-A-Wish Argentina arranged an amazing trip to visit the Andes, one of the largest mountain ranges in the world.
Accompanied by her mother and father, Julieta flew to Bariloche, the biggest ski resort in the Andes. She was so excited to see snow for the first time, she couldn’t stay still the entire flight, her nose pressed against the window.
When the family arrived, they were greeted by the Tourism Department who said the resort received fresh powder just in time for her arrival! During their five-day stay, Julieta enjoyed private ski lessons, sledding, many tastes of the famous Bariloche chocolate, and even a visit to Victoria Island where she navigated the famous lake Nahuel Huapi. To cap it off, the Prefect of Bariloche named Julieta an Honorary Citizen!
