I Wish to Be an Entrepreneur 

Ezra, Age 8, Singapore

Ezra’s wish was a simple one. Like many children his age, he is fond of toys, but Ezra harbors an ambition: to one day open his very own toy store, experiencing what it would be like to be an entrepreneur. On his wish day, Ezra sold Tamiya cars (his favorite) at Stargek, a Tamiya distributor.

After he finished attending to his shop, Ezra was whisked away in a Lamborghini to the Suntec Convention Centre where he received his “Young Entrepreneur of the Year” award. The event featured a selection of Ezra’s latest products, and was graced by his closest friends and family. To top things off, some prizes and a certificate were awarded to Ezra, acknowledging him as a boy with immense bravery, for battling his illness with courage despite his tender age.

Ezra was very excited, despite not knowing what the Make-A-Wish Foundation^® of Singapore had in store for him on his big day. His story is one that reminds us that no matter how old or young we are, and the illnesses that we have to face, we can still accomplish our goals as long as we dare to dream! Ezra continues his positive outlook towards life by saying, “my illness has been good to me, mummy, because of it I get to receive so much care and attention from people!”
