I wish to fly in a helicopter

Lucas was born with epidermolysis bullosa, commonly known as “butterfly skin” — a rare condition that causes extreme skin fragility, where even the slightest touch can result in painful wounds. It’s a condition that makes daily life a constant challenge, especially for a five-year-old who just wants to explore the world.
Lucas lives with his parents and his brother Mateo, surrounded by love and support every single day. And through it all, one dream stayed with him — to fly in a helicopter.
We brought his wish to life, and Lucas and his family soared above the city of Santiago, gazing down at the world below. For a child whose world is so often defined by careful, gentle handling, the freedom of being up in the sky was something else entirely.
His smiles said everything.
For his parents, too. Because no matter what a child is going through, every parent just wants to see them fl y — sometimes, literally.
