Adarsh, a young cricket enthusiast from Mumbai, had one heartfelt wish: to meet his idol, Rohit Sharma. While awaiting a heart operation in the hospital, he shared this wish with a Make-A-Wish volunteer, who was touched by his determination and set out to make it happen. Adarsh even told his doctor about his wish, asking to be discharged as soon as possible so he could meet Rohit.

After a successful operation and a week of recovery, Adarsh’s wish came true. On September 6, he visited Rohit Sharma at his residence, spending about 30 unforgettable minutes with the cricket star. Rohit spoke to him in Marathi, making him feel at ease, and answered all his questions. To top it off, Rohit gifted Adarsh a cap with his autograph — a treasured keepsake from an extraordinary day.

Adarsh’s father was overjoyed: “I also love cricket,” he shared. “I was happy because Adarsh met his idol today, and Rohit is his role model. I was excited thinking that my son would recover faster after meeting his hero.”

For Adarsh, this was more than a meeting — it was a moment of hope and joy that he will carry with him forever.
