I wish to be Godzilla

At just four years old, Kai Kai is full of imagination and energy. He’s completed treatment for non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma and now returns for regular checkups with a healthy smile.

In his world, the biggest hero of all is Godzilla. Because to him, Godzilla means strength. Kai Kai’s not just a fan, but an expert—one who can name every version of Godzilla by year. Whenever he visits the hospital, he brings his favorite Godzilla fi gure and loves to act out all the famous moves and roars. During treatment, his room even turned into a mini Godzilla museum fi lled with collectibles!

So naturally, Kai Kai’s greatest wish was to become Godzilla. And not just that, but also to bravely battle different versions of the monster—a wish full of pure, childhood fun.
When his wish was granted, it started with a brand-new Godzilla toy. Then, friends and family gathered, and the “Godzilla Challenge” kicked off with a fun trivia game. Thanks to Kai Kai’s superfan knowledge, he was tough to beat.

When Godzilla himself fi nally appeared, the whole room cheered. Kai Kai’s eyes lit up as he rushed forward to battle the monster. With everyone cheering him on, he won the fi ght and was heralded as the hero who saved the world. He received the “Earth Guardian Hero Award,” along with a trophy, hero cape, and a Make-A-Wish teddy bear.

After the arduous battle, Kai Kai of course had to refuel with Godzilla-themed treats, before he and his brothers went back to playing “City Smash,” continuing their very own hero adventure.
