Formula 1, Disney and Make-A-Wish® have come together for a first-of-its-kind collaboration to help grant life-changing wishes for children with critical illnesses around the world.
A custom racing helmet created in partnership with Bell Racing and designed by Bret Iwan, the official voice of Mickey Mouse, with creative direction from Bobby Kim, Global Creative Director, Disney Consumer Products, will be available for auction to help raise funds for wishes around the world.
Signed by Formula 1 drivers during the British Grand Prix race weekend at Silverstone, including Make-A-Wish France ambassador Pierre Gasly, the helmet will be on auction through F1 Authentics from 11–18 July 2026.
All net proceeds* from the auction will benefit Make-A-Wish, helping grant life-changing wishes for children with critical illnesses and their families when it is needed most.
This collaboration builds on long-standing relationships between Disney, Formula 1 and Make-A-Wish. The Formula 1 partnership has been active since 2023, with over 185 wishes granted for children with critical illnesses. The Disney partnership began more than 45 years ago with the first official wish granted at Disneyland. Since then, Disney and Make-A-Wish have worked together to grant more than 175,000 life-changing wishes for children with critical illnesses around the world, bringing hope, joy and strength to children and their families during some of their most difficult moments.
