Geographic Expansion
Make-A-Wish currently operates in nearly 50 countries and territories around the world through its extensive network of Affiliates. Guided by our vision “to grant the wish of every eligible child,” we are committed to expanding our operations into new territories, with a particular focus on increasing participation in developing countries.
Our geographical expansion program prioritizes larger territories in Africa, Asia, and South America that offer a stable environment, ensuring the greatest possible impact.
The process involves identifying highly skilled and committed local leaders or partnering with existing charities focused on children with critical illnesses. We follow a rigorous due diligence and planning process, providing comprehensive training and ongoing support to equip new territories with the tools they need for long-term success.
