Grant wishes for children with critical illnesses:

After the start of Make-A-Wish in 1980 in the United States, Make-A-Wish International was formed in 1993 to serve children around the world. Today, we grant wishes in nearly 50 countries, across 6 continents through our 40 Affiliates. Since inception, over 550,000 wishes were granted with the support of more than 33,000 volunteers and donors like you.

According to research, wishes have proven physical and emotional benefits; wish children collectively referred to memories that last a lifetime”, helping in the medical journey and bringing families closer together . Here are some impactful numbers from the research:

95% of wish parents

said the wish improved their family’s well-being and brought them closer together.

95% of wish alumni

felt more hopeful for their future after their wish was granted and said their wish helped them overcome feelings of sadness.

98% of medical providers

said they observed the wish experience helped relieve a family from any amount of traumatic stress related to their child’s critical illness.

As a result, wish children have fewer unplanned hospital admissions and fewer emergency department visits.

You can help them today.
