After 3 years of intense treatment, it was finally time for Oliver to live out his dearest wish — to become a zookeeper. On his wish day, Oliver got a truly unique insight into the life of a zookeeper in Dublin. After meeting the tapirs and the sea lions, Oliver was introduced to the newest member of the Dublin Zoo family – a beautiful, female red panda. But the little red panda needed a name, so the zookeepers asked Oliver to find a good name to call her. “Chaha” is the Nepalese word for “Wish” and “Love”. To this day, the female red panda of Dublin Zoo is officially called Chaha after Oliver’s suggestion.

Every child deserves a childhood full of joyful memories. Since 1980, we’ve granted more than 520,000 wishes all over the world to bring hope to children with critical illnesses.
