Wish Journey: the criteria

To be eligible for the Make-A-Wish Mexico Wish Journey, the following criteria must be met:

• The child has to aged 3-17 years old.
• The child has a life-threatening medical condition, defined as any progressive, degenerative, or malignant condition that is life-threatening and requires medical intervention.
• The child must be able to understand the concept of a wish and be able to participate in the wish process.

Medical eligibility for a wish is determined by a healthcare professional, who verifies the child’s medical condition and ensures that it meets the criteria set by Make-A-Wish.
