Creating Magical Wishes Together Since 1980

Disney Holiday Campaign

We are delighted that Disney’s holiday campaign is once again supporting Make-A-Wish International in Europe and the Middle East, helping us to grant life-changing wishes for children with critical illnesses.

Disneyland Paris Wish Weekend

Throughout the year, Disneyland Paris welcomes Make-A-Wish children through its gates, and in a special Wish Weekend in November, 50 families from across Europe and the Middle East will travel to the park to have their Disney wish granted. The families will spend the weekend enjoying quality time together, meeting their favorite characters, and experiencing all the magic that Disneyland Paris has to offer. The festive season is a period for togetherness and quality time with loved ones, and we hope the special wish weekend at Disneyland Paris will bring joy and strength to these families, when they need it most.

Unwrap the Power of a Wish this Festive Season

Disney & Make-A-Wish

Since 1980, Disney has helped Make-A-Wish® grant more than 155,000 life-changing wishes around the world – bringing hope, strength and joy to wish children and their families.

Disney works with Make-A-Wish to grant life-changing wishes from every part of the company, including theme park and resort vacations, cruises, shopping sprees, studio visits, talent meet-and-greets, sports-themed experiences and more.

When a wish comes true, it creates strength, hope and transformation in a child – and a community.

Some of Our Disney Wish Stories

Jade’s wish to see the Disney musical “Frozen”

For as long as she can remember, Jade has loved everything about Disney musicals, from the movies themselves to the soundtracks, which she has on constant repeat at home. Music is great therapy for Jade, as her verbal communication is limited due to living with Rett syndrome.

When the Make-A-Wish Australia volunteers spoke with Jade and her family about her love of Disney musicals, Jade immediately clapped her hands and smiled from ear to ear. Together, Make-A-Wish Australia and Disney made Jade’s wish come true for her and her family to see the Disney musical ‘’Frozen’’!

Giorgi’s wish to go to Disneyland Paris

Giorgis (12) and his twin brother Stathis both live with muscular atrophy. Their parents worried about the difficulties they could face travelling with two children in wheelchairs, but at Disneyland Paris they were able to live their own fairy-tale.

Thanks to Disney, Make-A-Wish Greece was able to grant Giorgis and Stathis’ wishes. The entire family spent three fun-filled days in the park, where they were able to see some of their favourite characters and enjoy the rides.

The family made a wonderful banner that they raised in the park, thanking Make-A-Wish Greece for making their wishes come true!

Charlotte’s wish to meet Anna & Elsa

Together, Make-A-Wish Canada and Disney made Charlotte’s wish come true to meet her favorite heroines, Elsa and Anna, from Disney’s animated movie “Frozen”. When Charlotte speaks of her wish day, she says it was “the best day ever!”.

Charlotte’s beautiful family gives back to Make-A-Wish year after year with ‘Lemonade for Wishes’, where they set up a stand on the beach selling homemade lemonade, and speak to others about their own Make-A-Wish experience.

Olimpia’s wish to ‘wake up and have breakfast with Disney princesses’

Six-year-old Olimpia has always admired the Disney princesses. Olimpia was diagnosed with neuroblastoma, and was forced to stay for more than 200 days in hospital, where she underwent a bone marrow transplant and chemotherapy.

The bond between Olimpia and her family became much stronger during her illness. She is especially close with her younger sister, Aurora, who has the same name as a famous Disney princess!

Together, Make-A-Wish Italy and Disney granted Olimpia’s wish to ‘wake up and have breakfast with Disney princesses.’
