Make-A-Wish^® International was born in February of 1993 to serve the five countries granting wishes outside the U.S., and now helps to serve children outside the United States in nearly 50 countries on five continents through its 37 affiliates.

Every day, our affiliates grant wishes to children in countries around the world, giving them the hope, strength and joy they need during times when they need those things the most. Each year, thousands of these wishes come true, helping communities, families and children overcome the challenges of their conditions with renewed spirits, thanks to the life-changing power of a wish. The hearts and minds of these wish kids inspire us and drive our vision of granting every eligible child's wish.
