This holiday season, help bring their wishes to life

Across the world, children with critical illnesses are waiting for a wish. Your gift can help make their wishes come true.

Wishes are waiting

Every wish is unique, but each has the power to bring hope, joy and possibility to a child with a critical illness. Your support can help grant wishes like these.

Mía, 9, ColombiaA young girl in a purple figure skating outfit and a pink helmet stands next to a ride-on squirrel toy in a shopping centre where wishes are waiting.

I wish to go ice skating

Mía lives in a city too warm for ice, but that never stopped her dreaming of skating to her favourite music. So, for her wish, she took to the rink in a sparkly, purple dress made just for her, surrounded by dozens of children from her hospital cheering her on.

Asia, 9, ItalyA child in a wheelchair wearing a purple winter jacket feeds a reindeer with the help of an adult, where wishes are waiting.

I wish to meet Santa Claus

Asia took on the Milan Marathon to help other children’s wishes come true, then got her own: to meet the real Santa Claus. She flew to Finland with her parents and twin sister Alessia and gave Santa’s beard a good tug to ensure it was real.

Léane, 6, FranceA family poses for a photo with Father Christmas in a snowy forest where wishes are waiting.

I wish to go to lapland

Léane first dreamed of Lapland when her nurse shared photos of reindeer and “green clouds”, her name for the Northern Lights. Her wish took her there with her family, to enjoy reindeer rides, dog sledding, light displays, and meeting Santa.

A wish can change everything

Critical illness doesn’t take a break for the holidays. For children facing treatment, hospital stays and uncertainty, a wish can give them something powerful to look forward to, restoring hope, joy and a sense of possibility.

Your donation can help more children experience the life-changing impact of a wish when they need it most.
