Building on the success of 2016’s global campaign, Disney fans and Make-A-Wish® supporters looking to share the joy this holiday season can once again join Disney Parks and Make-A-Wish and Share Your Ears to help make wishes come true for children with critical illnesses.
NH Hotel Group will donate nearly 600 rooms to seriously ill children and their families who are traveling for their most heartfelt wishes, as part of a strategic agreement with Make-A-Wish International.
The Company will help bring joy to the lives of these children by enhancing the wish experiences, giving them the strength to battle their illnesses and overcome adversity.
Following the successful launch of Disney Wish Program on Children’s Day this year, Shanghai Disney Resort recently supported the very first wish granting from Make-A-Wish Shanghai, hosting a seven-year-old boy and his family from China’s Anhui Province at Shanghai Disneyland and making his wish to meet Olaf from the hit Disney animated film Frozen come true.
Jewelers for Children held the 19th edition of the Facets of Hope event on June 7, in Las Vegas at the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino. The charity announced that $2.2 million had been raised to support their charity partners in the year ahead bringing the cumulative total since 1999 to $53.5 million had been donated on behalf of the industry to help children in need.
