Oliver’s wish…

On his 5th birthday, Oliver’s parents received the news that no parent wants to hear – their child had leukemia.

Fast forward 3 years and Oliver is doing well and had to decide what his biggest wish would be. Oliver did not have to think too long to decide that his wish was to be a zookeeper.

From the tapirs to the sea lions Oliver got a truly unique insight into the life of a zookeeper. Along the way Oliver was introduced to the newest addition to the zoo – a beautiful, yet unnamed, female red panda who left her perch on her tree to greet Oliver. After a conversation about what her name should be, Oliver and his family thought Chaha would be a great name for her. This a Nepalese word meaning “Wish” or “Love” and she has officially been given the name they chose.
