How a wish changes lives

Make-A-Wish Norway strives every day to bring light and hope into the lives of children living with critical illnesses. A wish granted can bring incredible joy to life and lots of hope. It can make children believe that anything and everything is possible.

Phases of Make-A-Wish Norway

Make-A-Wish Norway aims to grant the wish of every eligible child in Norway. The team of staff and volunteers work tirelessly to fulfill these wishes. The stages of the wish journey include wish discovery and design. Make-A-Wish works with the child and their family to identify what the child’s wish may be. Excitement builds as the wish is planned. It is then brought to life using funds people donate for the cause, bring hope, strength and lasting happy memories for the child and their family. Make-A-Wish Norway firmly believes in the idea of giving the utmost respect to the child, their family, and everyone around them. It is a priority which informs every step of the wish granting journey.

Criteria to apply for a wish

Make-A-Wish grants the wishes of children living with a critical illness who are over the age of three years old. You can fundraise for these kids throughout the year. It does not have to be specifically for World Wish Day.
