Our Wish Stories

I wish to fly in a helicopter
Lucas was born with epidermolysis bullosa, commonly known as “butterfly skin” — a rare condition that causes extreme skin fragility, where even the slightest touch can result in painful wounds. It’s a condition that makes daily life a constant challenge, especially for a five-year-old who just wants to explore the world. And through it all, one dream stayed with him — to fly in a helicopter.

I wish to have a doll
Even with the challenges life threw her way so early on, Ayla never lost her sweetness. Between the math problems she loved to solve and car rides with Grandpa César, she always found reasons to smile. During treatment, she wished to have a doll.

I wish to be a flight attendant
Shahira has been living with thalassemia since she was just over a year old, undergoing blood transfusions every three weeks. Through it all, she faced each day with a quiet courage and a heart full of big dreams. The biggest of those dreams? To become a flight attendant.
