“I wish to go to Europa Park“
Much of 7-year-old Nick’s short life has been spent in hospitals.
Over the past 18-months we have all learned the sad lesson of how hard it is to be separated from the ones we love. This year we are more grateful than ever to be able to spend the festive season in the warmth of our families.
But, when a child is critically ill special celebrations can be overtaken by the need for treatment and hospital stays. Sick children can spend family times of the year alone and isolated in hospital. As wonderful as the medical staff are, they are no substitute for loved ones.
Nick has spent much of his short life in hospital. He has endured endless operations to correct a painful congenital condition which displaced his internal organs.
It’s no surprise, after so much time spent apart, Nick’s wish is for a fun day out with his family at Germany’s largest theme park. As we look forward to the comfort of family gatherings this festive season spare a thought for families kept apart by life-threatening childhood illness.
Your donation will help Nick’s family create precious memories together giving them the strength and hope for brighter days ahead.
Spark joy and help the family of a sick child come together this festive season.
